I've decided I need a new pair of shoes. Cap-toe please. I hope this trend is here to stay - it's such a classic!

Between the Sheets

Did you know it takes just a few extra minutes to make your bed look like it was delivered right to your house from a fab hotel? Check out this video from goop and see my tips below to recreate your perfect bed everyday.

1. Duvet covers rock! (Why didn't I think of them?) They are easy to clean and can be swapped out by season. The buttons don't always have to go at the bottom - you can turn it just like you turn your mattress. You want it to wear evenly too. Remember to rotate your mattress clockwise at least every 3 months.

2. Splurge on sheets. 300 count is fine. Anything over is a waste. Yves Delorme is of course ahhh-mazing, but way out of my price range. However, they do have an online outlet - who knew?! West Elm also has a nice organic sheet line.

3. Fluff! Your pillows will thank you.

4. To keep your sheets looking crisp, spritz them with a little water and then pull tightly. You can even put a fragrance in the water. Lavender, anyone?

5. Always tuck the bottom of the bed first. Some say to then start at the headboard and work your way down the sides, but that's too much movement for me. I stay at the foot of the bed and work up. So, once you've tucked the bottom, fold the part of the sheet that is draping into a 45 degree angle so that it creates a triangle agains the side of the mattress. Tightly tuck it under, and work your way up to the headboard. You'll be amazed at what a difference this easy technique makes!
