Trash Talk

OK, what is it with all these cute trash cans on the market?? I am obsessed! And need to find a house with more bathrooms so I can buy more of these. (Yeah right.) I, for one, think trash cans should remain hidden, but with all these adorable options, I could reconsider and just may dedicate some serious space to showcase these. But with so many options, how does one decide? Do you think a trash can should make a statement? Which is your favorite?

Words of Wisdom

“Members of the class of 2012…” Those words are currently being uttered by many college presidents, deans, and commencement speakers as graduation time is upon us. If you could speak at commencement, what would you say? What is the best words of advice you ever received and from whom?

A Place of YES

I have to admit, I am a huge Bethenny Frankel fan. I have followed her the last couple of years since her stint as one of the original five Real Housewives of New York City. She was my favorite. So now, I practiccally feel like we’re girlfriends - naturally! Call me crazy. And what I would give to be Julie! What a lucky girl to have that job –  coordinating chaos and multi-tasking is right up my alley. Although, I’m sure Bethenny can be a challenging, unrelenting boss at times, to say the least. But then again, so can I. Maybe that’s why I feel so connected to her. Earlier this week on her spin-off reality show, Bethenny Ever After, she and husband Jason got to move into their new Tribeca apartment that they've been renovating for months and months. My oh my, what a little money will get you in NYC! While it’s not exactly what I would have picked out, it’s beautiful and VERY “Bethenny” ... with accents of red and lots of straight edges. Rumor has it that it’s in the same building as Jay-Z and Beyonce’s apartment. Here are a few photos.

The chandelier is my favorite part.

"Booze bought this apartment!"

Awww... wallpaper love.
I’m excited for her talk show (which debuts June 11) and to see what her next life chapter brings. Apparently Ellen Degeneres is a big backer, so it’s got to be good, right?!  Are you a Bethenny fan, or are you sick of reality TV?
